Privacy Policy

BuildLaunchOS is a self-service SaaS product that automatically generates a personalized Founder OS from your answers and makes it available in your authenticated dashboard. Sending the result to Notion is an optional export step for applicable paid plans.

We may collect account information (such as name and email through authentication), questionnaire and product answers you submit, workspace and entitlement metadata, payment status when paid purchasing is enabled, support messages, and product usage data needed to operate the service.

For paid orders we may also store delivery evidence metadata such as generation and preview timestamps, dashboard access events, explicit in-app copy/export action timestamps (not clipboard contents), Notion attempt/success/failure codes, policy/consent versions, and a content integrity hash that does not expose generated text.

Do not enter passwords, payment-card data, medical records, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information into forms or questionnaire fields.

We use collected information to authenticate you, generate your Founder OS preview and paid output, provide optional Notion workspace delivery when connected, send transactional and (with consent) optional product emails, provide customer support, enforce usage limits, review remediation and refund disputes, and improve the product.

The answers you provide during the eight-question flow are used to generate your roadmap, tasks, trackers, and workspace sections. Answers may be stored locally in your browser during drafting and in our database when you generate and save a preview.

To generate personalized output, submitted answers and relevant workspace information may be sent to our AI-processing provider. Users should not submit passwords, payment-card data, medical records, government identification numbers, or other highly sensitive information.

When you connect Notion, we may store connection status, tokens needed for delivery, and workspace or page identifiers required to complete optional Founder OS export. Your Notion content remains in your Notion account, and you can disconnect the integration after delivery.

We use third-party providers to operate BuildLaunchOS, including:

• • Supabase — database and application data
• • OpenAI — AI generation processing
• • Notion — optional workspace connection and export
• • Resend — transactional and support email
• • Vercel — hosting and deployment
• • Inngest — background job processing for generation workflows
• • Lemon Squeezy or another authorized Merchant of Record — payment processing when paid checkout is enabled

When paid purchasing is enabled, payments may be processed by Lemon Squeezy or another authorized Merchant of Record or payment provider. We do not store complete payment-card details on BuildLaunchOS servers. Taxes, invoices, refunds, and checkout details may be handled by the payment provider according to their policies.

We may send transactional emails related to account activity, preview generation, core delivery confirmation, optional Notion workspace delivery confirmation, and support. Optional product tips or recommendations are sent only when marketing consent is enabled and can be managed in account settings or via unsubscribe links where provided.

We may use basic analytics or cookies provided by our hosting platform to understand page visits and product usage. We do not currently operate a separate product-analytics vendor such as PostHog in the production application. We do not use invasive clipboard monitoring or keylogging for delivery evidence.

We retain account, questionnaire, workspace, and entitlement data for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and resolve support requests. Draft answers stored only in your browser remain until you clear them or generate a preview.

Paid delivery and transaction evidence may be retained for the period reasonably necessary to address payment, tax, fraud, refund and dispute obligations, which may be up to seven years where legally or operationally required. We avoid retaining full generated content solely for dispute evidence when a hash and delivery metadata are sufficient.

Where lawful deletion is requested, we may still preserve records that are legally required for financial disputes or regulatory obligations.

Delivery evidence summaries used for refund or Merchant-of-Record review are restricted to authorized operators. Access may be logged. Customers and unrelated workspace members cannot view another order’s evidence panel.

You may contact privacy@buildlaunchos.com to request correction or deletion of account-related data where applicable. Account deletion is currently handled manually through support. Export of workspace data may be added later; until then, contact support if you need assistance.
